ABOUT US:

Our apiary can be found on the hilly landscape of Diósvölgy, the outskirts of Esztergom ( Hungary). Currently, we are only operating as a local permanent apiary. The tradition of bee-keeping went from relatives to relatives, from my grandparents to grandchildren in our family. The story began in 1955 when my grandmother's brother worked for the railway and he managed to collect a hive. The bees survived and reproduced and the whole developed into a big apiary. Thanks to the preciseness of the old, we still use one "survivor" from the beehives made manually in 1955. And then in 1980s I and my grandfather received some unused beehives as a gift and we started our keeping bees. Slowly almost all the members of our family learnt the craft of bee-keeping and we all came to like this activity. All of us in our family have taken part in the process since then. To develop my expertise, I completed my studies at the vocational school of bee-keeping in 2006. In 2007 I completed my master examination at the agricultural chamber of Székesfehérvár. We are continuously modernizing our machines and developing our technology and we store our products in plastic, stainless boxes and pots according to the regulations. Our aim is to maintain high quality and originality even in case of bulk production. Our honey products are certified with the label issued by the Hungarian Apiary Association from 2008. (The labelled products are under continuous control. The six numbers on the label is the identification number of the producer.) Our plans include a development of the apiary up to 350 families as well as starting the export activities. If you have any questions, orders or inquiries, feel free to contact us.
