ABOUT THE COMB-HONEY:
The definition of comb-honey: Honey-combs containing cells totally covered by acacia honey collected by bees on artificial honey-comb basis or freely into natural constructions.
The honey-combs can be sold together with the frame. Or they can be cut off from the frame, cut into suitable pieces and they can be sold after placing them into bottles and filled up with acacia honey. Standards qualify the quality of the comb-honey offered for sale in trade.
In both cases the wax of the honey-comb and the honey inside form the comb-honey together. This product is a very popular delicacy.
The new white-coloured honey-combs containing fully covered cells can be cut into parts from the frames covered with honey on demand and then they can be wrapped out.
Bee families containing adequate number of members are needed for the production due to the extremely large amount of wax.
